LABOR - MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
38.1 MONTHLY LABOR / MANAGEMENT MEETINGS
38.2 ATTENDANCE AT MEETING
One representative from Local 332 shall be granted official time
for attendance at the monthly meeting for the time absent from regular
duties. Other members may attend the meeting on their own time.
38.3 LOCAL POLICY DEVELOPED
AT MONTHLY
LABOR / MANAGEMENT MEETINGS
Disposition of agenda items, submitted at least by the Thursday
prior to the meeting, will be reduced to writing and furnished to Local
332 representatives in the minutes of the Labor / Management Meeting.
38.4 MINUTES
A. Minutes of the Labor / Management Meetings
shall be taken by Management and initialed by both parties within
7 days following the meeting prior to being finalized and posted. This
item not intended to be in conflict with Section 38.4 of the 1994 National
Agreement.
B. Five (5) copies of the minutes of
the Labor / Management Committee Meetings will be furnished to the Administrative
Vice President of Local 332 within 7 days following the approval.
38.5 CHRISTMAS OPERATION
The policies to be established by Management for the Christmas Operations
shall be a subject at the October Labor / Management Meeting.
This Memorandum of Understanding is entered into on June 11, 1999.
at Salt Lake City, Utah, between the representatives of the United States
Postal Service, and the designated agent of the National Postal Mail Handlers
Union, a Division of the Laborers' International Union of North America,
AFL - CIO, pursuant to the Local Implementation Article of the 1998 National
Agreement. This Memorandum of Understanding constitutes the entire agreement
on matters relating to local conditions of employment.
