SAFETY AND HEALTH

All schedules of Safety and Health Committee Meetings will be sent to the Union President and representatives designated to attend.

It is recognized that for the health and safety of the employees, and the maintaining of an efficient work force, we must provide safe working conditions and healthy environmental conditions.

ARTICLE 17
REPRESENTATION

17.1   OPEN - DOOR  POLICY

17.2   Duly elected Union officials, shop stewards, and grieved employees desiring to         contact Union officials may use the telephone for official business. Local calls only           will be permitted.
ARTICLE 20
PARKING
 
 

20.1   Prior to making assignments of employee parking spaces to the Mail Handler craft,   official Union representatives will be consulted.

20.2   Parking in all employee designated lots will be on a first come, first serve basis.

20.3   Establishment of employee disignated lots is a suitable topic for Labor /           Management meeting.

HIGHER  LEVEL  ASSIGNMENTS

WORK AREAS

Work areas, for detail to higher level assignments, are by section as defined in accordance with Article 12.2 of this Memorandum of Understanding.
